Omarosa Strikes Again: Lara Trump offered her 180k” “Campaign Job”

This isn’t just snark: do you think any of that applies to the President himself? I do. And he’s known Omarosa for–what?–14 years? She was the villain of his reality tv show. As with Trump, who she is is obvious to any sentient being. So why in the world would he bring such an awful person into the West Wing of the WH? (Rhetorical question, I guess: Sociopathic liars, grifters, manipulators, narcissists, and con artists are likely to be surrounded by other sociopathic liars, grifters, manipulators, narcissists, and con artists.)

Wouldn’t “birds of feather” be easier to type?

“Bribes” and “hush money” are now “controlling the narrative”. Did you get this from Peek’s Alternative Dictionary?

now not only is Trump ruining his own kids by teaching them how to be crooks but now he’s teaching the in-laws how to bribe?

damn.

Does $180,000 a year do nothing job give a whole new context to the phrase “give a dog a bone”?

Legal bribery! Get your facts straight!

180 grand for 3 years until 2020 election…540k$ can buy a lot of airways in an election. she can’t be the first nor the last to get an offer like that i wonder how many other are on the payroll to do nothing

I suspect that’s coming very soon. Maybe as soon as the first wave of Omarosa’s book dies down.

ABC News:

" Trump goes on, on the recording, to say that the money offered to Manigault Newman is public.
“All the money that we raise and that pays salaries is directly from donors, small-dollar donors for the most part," Trump said on the tape. "

Ummm…money donated for the campaign is NOT public money. And presumable she would have been expected to be on the campaign.

As of yet, there has been no big tape. Maybe she is leading up to that. We will see.

i wonder where are resident trump cultists are to trumpsplain this…

It’s funny. She has shown more than I thought she would.

If there ultimately is no n word tape, then a lot of people are going to feel conned—which leads me to think that there is no tape after all.

In any case, I’ll believe it when I hear it.

I have a hard time believing anyone gives credence to her tapes, which are likely edited and spliced to create a narrative that serves her purposes.

Yeah, very good point. I suspect we’ll find out soon, won’t we?

We don’t know that. There could have been some things that both women knew about that they didn’t discuss specifically on the phone.

That’s the problem. We may never find out. Any reasonably talented person who deals with digital audio can use a source and rearrange conversations and even slow down, speed up and change the pitch of voices and no one can tell.

I agree with you about what she’s shown. I think I started the first thread on the book here and at the time I was almost chuckling at a reality show contestant bringing out a book on her former boss. Well, I guess it’s still pretty funny, but the tapes have put things in a new dimension. I certainly didn’t expect she had them.

When she premiered the tape on MSNBC today, Craig Melvin, the interviewer, made it clear the producers had heard the full tape. Don’t know if that’s been true in all instances, but in this one it was.

We have no evidence these tapes have been digitally mishandled.

Its bizarre isnt it

Of course you do.
