Laid out fact by fact in the last several threads we had on the subject.

Why bother rehashing it all again when the next time it comes up you’ll once again pretend we haven’t already done so repeatedly.

A fairly decent article on the subject though can be found here.

The overwhelming majority of the NRA’s money comes from the membership, not from “The Gun Industry” and that hasn’t changed since it’s inception.

They fight for 2nd Amendment Rights, not for those evil producers of death machines.

Do gun manufacturers benefit? Of course they do particularly every time there is another attack on gun rights because that drives people to the stores to buy guns they would otherwise put off of not purchase at all and to stock up on ammo.

Oddly, the more successful the NRA is at protecting 2nd Amendment rights the less it benefits the manufacturers because it is when our rights are under serious threat that sales go through the roof.

Eliminate such challenges to the 2nd and the industry would quickly flatten as it did temporarily following the 2016 election.
