Lindsey Graham has talked about it, and every single GOP Presidential Candidate talked about it. They want a national abortion ban or limit. Haley wants 15 weeks, for instance. Trump wants one too, although he isn’t specific on the week he wants it to take effect.

It is either up to the states or it is not, the GOP has to choose here.

We’re doing that now. In Michigan we passed a Constitutional amendment guaranteeing the rights of women to choice in their reproductive lives. Ohio and a few others passed it as well, including deep red states.

Indeed. The court didn’t legalize abortion, it just said that it was up to the state. If you don’t like what your state is doing, that is the proper place to work to change it.

Nothing that I read indicated it was an emergency case.

It was treated like any other medical case that is not an emergency and can wait for weeks or months.

Nothing about this is abortion related at all.

The problem, if there is one in this case, is that
all non-emergency surgeries in this country often come with a multi-week or multi month waiting period. That has nothing to do with abortion and has everything to do with our alarming shortage of doctors which I have suitably documented.
