I have spent the last decade or more focused entirely on politics. I neglected keeping up with science. I have been rectifying that recently. Current science convinces me we are entering an age of abundance due to the logarithmic scale of advancement in information technology. Costs for anything information tech related is dropping to near zero in a short time frame, these include, energy, housing, food and clothing. In light of this I now support a universal basic income. Because we can now afford it. It is time to set a middle class floor.
One river of consciousness is enough.
