They don’t. Don’t take my word for it though. Ask a black person.

Even more basically, what did a kids parents use of that term in his Facebook page have to do with beating on those kids? This was about rounding up kids for being white and forcing them to say Black Lives Matter, not revenge for what one of the fathers wrote on a Facebook page.

Curious of the source of that story of using the term “colored people”. What rag of a media thought they could use that to deflect from a gratuitous race based beating?

Don’t theories include some shred of evidence?

No… no you didn’t.

You can’t be serious

Tsk, tsk

First the playgrounds then shackles.

I’m sure they’re serious. I wonder if this picture will give a clue as to why “colored” is not an accepted descriptor. Or even better we’ll get a “non-woke” explanation as to why it’s perfectly OK.

I think some still believe the groups included in the 1960s use of “people of color” are the same as those included today. Terms change. Some people change their usage with them. Others don’t. Then they call people “woke” for changing with the times. As if that’s a bad thing.

And you would be wrong. Not as a go to punishment but sometimes a reset of the butt to brain circuit is necessary. My grandmother was that old school southern woman that made me get her the switch she whooped my posterior with.

Of course. Aren’t they always?

One triggers fragility.

How did you get all the way from the question of who influenced those kids (the black ones) to behave like thugs to “minorities taking over”?

Black people are not entitled to charge of word definitions to suit their own agenda. “People of color” … by definition and English phraseology … means exactly the same thing as “colored people.”

It is okay to say “black people” I presume … :smirk:

Yes, they do. Haven’t you been keeping up with all the links to CRT in the schools in this Forum? I’m sure @WuWei can direct you to some choice ones if you missed them. Personally, I don’t keep track.

No I didn’t what?

Or is this just evidence to back up my accusation that you don’t understand English?

^^^ There ya go @PurpnGold … evidence to support my theory.

I asked the question earlier and got no answer … What y’all want to be called? It seems like no matter what adjective a white person uses, it’s wrong.

As near as I can tell from subsequent responses, both do.

That’s not wrong. CRT is desperately seeking hegemony.
