Not true. If you’re a candidate running on a Democratic ticket or a Democratic voter, you’re fully endorsing ALL of their immigration policies. They don’t tolerate any divergence, nor have they hidden their intentions. Every single Democratic Presidential candidate signed on for healthcare for anybody who manages to get into this country.
Only for the wing nuts. There are certainly moderate democrats and independents who thought the Biden policy would be the same as the Obama policy. As the article shows, some are already starting to break.
One has to be grossly ignorant of everything Democrats have been saying for years to believe they have any intentions of border security or limiting immigration flow in ANY capacity. They’re stricter with U.S. citizens than they are with migrants who freely cross the borders - during a pandemic.
Nearly every lib in this forum was convinced that the Biden policy would be the same as the Obama policy. No open borders. So yes, gross ignorance plays a part.
