OFFISHAL OHIO Special Electshon Thread

"After college, O’Connor worked as a Jesuit Volunteer Corps in The Bronx in New York City where he was a legal advocate helping veterans, immigrants, and families stricken by poverty in the Solution Legal Clinic program.

In 2016, O’Connor was elected to be the Franklin County Recorder in Franklin County, Ohio. In this position, O’Connor reduced the time to file documents and enhanced free filing of military veterans’ discharge documents by connecting veterans with civilian job opportunities."

Not sure what happened there

All early votes counted. Here are the results…

O’Connor - 63% (22,409)
Balderson - 36% (12,985)

My mom is from Ohio if my family there is any indication everything with Trump is gold. Families are not separated at the border and job losses because of tariffs are just lies the media is telling people.

It seems like they bussed in quite a few Mexicans to cast illegal votes.

Only 3 million?

Our old friend, Jamie Dupree, providing some updates…

Did they mean resettled Mexicans or resettled West Virginians?

:sunglasses:

You Lie! It was 4 million… Where is Joe “I give guns to toddlers” Wilson these days?

Dayum this is a close one!

Well, no wonder the GOP would hate him.

Filthy socialist, helping immigrants and the indolent score free gubmint cheese.

This…is very problamtic for the GOP. It should not be this close

There’s enough rural votes out there that Balderson should win, but a district Romney and Trump carried by double digits shouldn’t have been this close. Not a good harbinger for the GOP in November IMO.

With 85% reporting, its crazy to see how close it is

Especially as more people lost jobs and farmers struggle.

Could be… But it’s August, and Ds are far more energized to vote than Rs.
