To be fair, they’re not actually afraid, they just need their voters to be afraid, which, oh boy, are they delivering.

I just watched Guilfoyle’s speech again. “Manic” is the most gracious descriptor I can manage.
Couldn’t be arsed to watch Junior. I’d have to powerwash my laptop afterwards.
A very astute point. Vote for Trump or ARMAGEDDON!!! SOSHALISUM!!! NO MORE SUBURBS!!!

Rodeo:
You will notice this thread has been dominated by the leftists on the board…they have focused on one or two speeches…
Walker’s not among them…you can tell that most of the night was really good since all these leftists want to talk about seems to be basically two speakers out of many.
Walker was great, his comment about not having a friendship of 37 years with Trump as a racist was powerful…so was Ambassador Haley…Guilfoyle did exactly what I expected from her she wasn’t as bad as they are making her out to have been…
Kim Klacik, the 38 year old African American woman running for Congress from Baltimore could have had a little more time to speak…what a compelling young woman. The woman crediting Trump’s Right to Try idea for the fact she’s still alive was moving…
The star of the night whom no lib has touched was Tim Scott. He could run in four years against Pence and Haley and maybe the Governor of South Dakota and he might get my vote. “From Cotton Fields to Congress” was the line of the night.
Personally I thought it was a helluvan opening night…there was more pro America pride and positive energy in one night than that entire anti American snooze fest of a week ago.
But far be it for me to interrupt a bunch of liberals confirming each other’s confirmation bias, which is pretty much all this thread has been.
I appreciate this insight and opinion.
I didn’t watch all of last night, I don’t know how many people do. All I saw was Kimberly and Jr, and then Nikki Haley. I did like her speech, for the most part. Didn’t agree with much of it, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.
Ratings were down from the DNC opening night.
“The Republican National Convention averaged 15.9 million viewers on its opening night, falling short of the 18.7 million who tuned in for the beginning of last week’s Democratic convention, according to Nielsen Media Research figures released Tuesday.”
Maybe it will pick up. Yikes.

What exactly do you think America is?
Because I don’t know how you can think it’s pro american when you arguee that half of the country is evil and wants to destroy you.
That doesn’t sound"Pro America" to me
then you must have been really upset when biden’s “if trump wins democracy dies” convention aired.

and the idiot’s media is out there synthesizing the narrative that it was “dark”
it was… “darrrrrk”
what idiots
one of the speakers said if Biden win there going to outlaw the suburbs and no one will be safe.
that doesnt make the convention “dark”
that makes it informative
