It’s not that bad :)… I think you are probably younger than me as in two years I will unfortunately be the big 40, but in my 13 years in Seattle I started in the downtown and then bought a home just outside of the city. Still very close, somethings change with age I am sad to report.

Given that both parties are trying to appeal to the suburban vote, I must admit I am a little jaded. I’m turning 30 very soon, and have no intention of living in a community that won’t exist by the time I’m 70. This entire political strategy is being centered around the rescue of the dying 'burbs.

The lawns are nice though. I read an interesting study that implicates suburbs as being more destructive to the ecosystem than urban areas. Probably all of the nice lawns and forest removal.
