Debbie Wasserman Schultz’ shady IT staffer avoided jail time Tuesday over his possible role in the disappearance of a Democrat-owned data server and security breach, with his attorneys claiming disparaging remarks made by President Trump potentially impacted his hearings.
“Imran Awan, the former IT aide to congressional Democrats whose federal bank fraud case has drawn the interest of top Republicans, avoided jail time Tuesday after the defense complained about disparaging comments made against the defendant by President Trump and others,” writes Fox News.
