ODS, BDS, TDS-You've Changed

A lot, maybe most, people seem to see things in a silo. Maybe it’s an attention span problem.

And hypocrisy for party prevails.

Here’s how I see the totalitarianism over the past few administrations with a couple of examples from each:

ODS

  • Murdered three US citizens, including a 16 year-old boy.
  • The obamacare penalty.

BDS

  • The vaccine mandates
  • No more gas

TDS

  • Rounding up citizens, etc.
  • Military in city streets
  • “I have the authority to strike on US territory”

I don’t care which side you’re on. I don’t care about who did it first.

Totalitarianism is bad for us. We, the People will always be the losers.

I have Totalitarian Disgust Syndrome.

If you excuse, rationalize or otherwise enable this from any quater, well… you’re no friend.

killed three terrorists, good
Obama care mandate is an example, but its not the best one
DACA is the best one
and lets not forget spying on the political opposition
and the beginning of lawfare

both true, there were more.
Student loan bailout
lawfare on steroids
foreign policy shakedowns

interesting how you have to frame these into something they are not

no-one is rounding up citizens
miitary is being used to protect federal assets. could others do it? sure, but its nt a requirement
the last would be a problem if he did it and the circumstances were not in place to allow it.

better examples
failure to notify the Congress of military activity as required under the WPA
lack of adequate circumspection by ICE and BP agents
erratic Tariff imposition
Spending and firing decisions politically motivated in the shut down

By that definition, fascism and nationalism are the same thing.
Gentile argued that freedom could only be found through communion with the community. Sort of the “it takes a village” idea.
