Socialist superstar Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed the United States Electoral College over the weekend; calling the institution a “shadow of slavery” and saying it “undermines our nation.”
On two particular issues (private prisons and violently-enforced arbitration and NDAs), she does. She has said some small things, like about “signing” legislation as a representative, that need to be corrected.
Conservatives and progressives will go after her on those utterances. I’m thinking that she can alternatively be seen as having firm beliefs but not caring about the technical vocabulary.
