law of nations. The land was not stolen, it was liberated.
well, if you live in a world of denial and relative morality where it was okay for the Sioux to take it but not okay for us⌠yeah, I guess so. The same unreality that declares monuments which include Teddy Roosevelt and Abe Lincoln are monuments to slave holders.
Every parcel of land on this earth has been taken and retaken multiple times. It is the law of nations. It wonât change today or tomorrow or ever.
The United States signed a legal contract giving the Lakota the Black Hills as part of their reservation.
A few years later they ignored that legal contract and took the land.
I can see why Trump supporters would think ignoring legal contracts is perfectly fine.

Yeah sure⌠but how about not invoking a guy whose actions led to a death march as being âgreatâ
Especially when they know that there is a protest concerning Native American interests.

Liberated.
That is one of the ways to try to square the ideals of this nation with the history of failing at delivering on those ideals.

all treaties are temporary. thatâs just fact. the law of nations reigns supreme. The land was liberated.
White Trump supporters chanting âgo back where you came fromâ at Native American protesters in the Black Hills is peak 2020.

Iâm gonna guess that history has no bearing on the law of nations.
The death march did not involve the Sioux.
I donât think he could wash the orange out if he tried.

Such an uplifting and positive message being delivered from the POTUS to the nation on this celebration of our Independence.
Only if youâre a petty liberal partisan.
It really makes one wonder whatâs going on under there that he doesnât want anyone to see. No grown man should be applying that much pancake.
Was he required by any law to mention the pandemic? Will anyone forget weâre in one if he doesnât?
Did he make you sufficiently angry? Cause thatâs what he was trying to do.
yea thatâs that point! Whether or not he is legally required to mention the pandemic!
