To be fair the promotion of crime isn’t meant to redistribute wealth. The purpose is to break down society to the point where it is ripe for violent revolution. Then the socialist utopia is supposed to rise from the ashes to restore order and create the equitable, centrally controlled society.

Cool story and all, but what’s wrong with the stated purpose for these changes? Isn’t “according to these studies these criminal reform policy measures will help with recidivism, overflowing prisons, ruin less families, and are cheaper then locking these people up” (paraphrased) a lot more reasonable an explanation then “its a socialist plot to destroy society and rebuild it as a totalitarian dystopian nightmare” (also paraphrasing)?

I’m talking about the politicians and activists pushing these policies, not the useful fools doing the crimes. And whenever one of these revolutions succeeds, the first to come under the boot heel are the fools who are no longer necessary.

Just keep right on taking NYC back to the bad old 70s. NYC didn’t turn to ■■■■ then because Hollywood made the death Wish movies, the conditions in NYC inspired Hollywood to make those movies.

If stuff was being stolen and then being equally redistributed you might have a point, but that’s not what’s happening. Instead its being stolen and resold for the profit of the person who did the stealing. When Behringer stole the design for the Arturia Keystep and released the very similar Behringer SWING, was that closer to capitalism or socialism?

The City of New York gets what it supports. That memo makes resisting arrest and interfering in an arrest offenses that will not be prosecuted. The number of officers on the force will fall and those left will not even bother with anything short of a rape or active shooter. But you bet this DA and the high city officials will have security details. Now when even more financial firms and other major employers leave the city, and tourism continues to fall, and even more families flee the crime for the sack of their children, not one penny should go to bailing these fools out…

I suspect my definition of violent offenders differs from you Libs. You Libs believe that nothing whatsoever counts as violence as long as an offender doesn’t actually kill you.

The fact is in a place like NYC the overwhelming majority of the criminal element is not White and hence have to deal with the political optics of nearly 100% if arrests being of non-white people. The guiding ideology of modern progressivism is that all non-whites in America are victims of the most racist country in the world.

The fact is in a place like NYC the overwhelming amount of crime occurs in very limited areas just like Chicago and Baltimore. While violence has certainly crossed those thresholds, it never did so steadily. So the lesson is the gentrification is winning and it’s defeating any crime wave better than incarceration and Stop and frisk.
