NYC Mayoral race

I actually ran into him once on Long Beach Island NJ- he vacations there. Just said hi- he was very nice.

Looks like he is still working: https://www.kubylaw.com/

My mom knows him, actually.

I’m not entirely clear on the details of how, but once - in what I imagine was an attempt to impress me and my brother - she somehow arraigned for me and him to go out for drinks with Ron Kuby and Tom Hayden in Manhattan.

Mayor Murder can’t be mayor anymore?

Term limits.

And look at that. Still sitting on Kuntsler’s shoulders - even on his own firm’s site.

According to the Times, Wiley has passed Garcia.

She got the progressive endorsement

Wow. But Yang seems out of it.

And in other news,

Maybe he should shoot himself in the bathroom again.

No one was really hot for him.

I am sad to see that my man Paperboy Love Prince didn’t do well.

He’d like to ban car ownership too. Only wealthy progressives should be allowed to have private transportation.

I thought Yang was more popular but I haven’t been keeping up. Every time I see Yang he reminds me of my favorite character in the late TV show Heroes ‘Hiro Nakamura’.

Yeah Yang is trash.

July 6?

I presume ranked voting is what we would call preferential voting. If it is, I expect the rationale would be to get the vast majority of those who give their first preference to place her second which would mean she gets Yang’s votes if he is eliminated.

I strongly endorse a move to preferential voting.

Yang has conceded already. And I don’t think that’s how NY voting works. People had to actually choose candidates in order, like first choice, second choice, etc. so yang’s votes don’t automatically go to someone else
