There’s absolutely no law that trumps any nation’s sovereignty and to control its borders as it sees fit. If one were to take your statement as immutable “law” then 3 billion people could show up at the border utter the magic words “asylum seeker” and America would be powerless to do anything about it.

Show me something I don’t know. Furthermore, as I said before there’s NOTHING in international asylum law that in anyway trumps a nation’s sovereign right to control its border as it deems necessary. The fact is that the Biden Administration along with most (if not all) of the Democrat Party WANTS an open border and are using “asylum” as a ruse to do so.

Your thinking seems to indicate a flawed and counter intuitive thought process, in which you do not make a distinction which places a priority on assisting American citizens first, in times of need.

I say “flawed” because a basic, and more than obvious building block of any successful community is to make a distinction in times of needs between community members, and outsiders, and placing a helpful priority on community members, and especially so when needed resources are scarce as they certainly are in New York City.

For those in charge to not place a priority on a communities’ members in the distribution of essential needs, especially when they are scarce, borders on a traitorous act.
