Congressman Devin Nunes spoke with Sean Hannity Wednesday night regarding the now-debunked ‘Steele Dossier,’ saying President Trump should confront British Prime Minister Theresa May over her government’s potential role in the dodgy material.

“Congressman, let’s talk about the letter. Is there any possibility in your mind that it might’ve been people in our intelligence community that outsourced illegal intelligence gathering to our allies?” asked Hannity.

“I think we can be sure about one thing. On foreign soil, someone was running operations against Trump campaign people. We don’t know if that was our government, the British government, or some kind of firm that was doing it,” said Nunes.

“It’s definitely a fact that on British soil there were activities going on that we need to get to the bottom of… The President is heading to London in the coming weeks. I think we need to get some answers,” he added.

Nunes’ comments come as a game of “finger pointing” is currently rocking the Deep State.

A major dispute between senior DOJ officials erupted this week over whether former FBI director James Comey or CIA director John Brennon “pushed” the now-debunked ‘Steele Dossier’ ahead of the 2016 election.

“A high-level dispute over which senior government officials pushed the unverified Steele dossier amid efforts to surveil the Trump campaign has broken out into the open again, after it emerged that Attorney General William Barr appointed a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if the FBI and DOJ’s actions were ‘lawful and appropriate,’” reports Fox News.

“Sources familiar with the records told Fox News that a late-2016 email chain indicated then-FBI Director James Comey told bureau subordinates that then-CIA Director John Brennan insisted the dossier be included in the intelligence community assessment on Russian interference, known as the ICA,” adds the article.

“Former Director Brennan, along with former [Director of National Intelligence] James Clapper, are the ones who opposed James Comey’s recommendation that the Steele Dossier be included in the intelligence report,” said one official familiar with the dispute.

Senator Rand Paul made national headlines last March when he confirmed that Brennon “insisted” on using the “unverified and fake” dossier.

BREAKING: A high-level source tells me it was Brennan who insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report… Brennan should be asked to testify under oath in Congress ASAP.
