The reason we did away with the short range tactical nukes is the fact that in deploying them you kill your own people.

Giving them to the average infantryman would simply destroy your own army the first time they were used.

And by recent history, you aren’t including nuclear warefare, because to date no one has really survived that. Ask the japnasese people about that.

Every historical reference we have from the founders on that subject refers to the individual equipment and weapons carried by a common infantryman or cavalryman, not WMD’s and not crew served weapons like artillery.

As to the OP, I don’t see any situation in which the NRA would cease to exist in any different form than it does now. In point of fact if they really were in some financial trouble it would be as simple as starting a GoFundMe page and they would be fully funded for as long as they needed.

What you are suggesting through a court win is that a company would be forced to carry coverage against it’s wishes and furthermore to it’s possible insolvency through claims settled having been forced to carry said coverage.

There’s precedence and a known solution. We call it NRACare. It’s a tax on those who choose not to be membe… no it’s a penal… no it’s a tax. Yeah, that’s the ticket!
