I’ve said before, Biden is an expendable candidate for 2020. They won’t lose much when they lose with him. Their eye is on Congress, the senate if they’re lucky.
Alabama has ostensibly delivered the HoR to the Dems with their idiocy recently, they are going to lose a lot of women voters with passing on rape and incest exemptions. Hell, I didn’t think Doug Jones had a chance in 2020 but if Roy Moore runs again and we are still dealing with this abortion mess he stands a chance.
Biden delivers the swing states, that is his wheelhouse and the numbers at the moment show huge leads for him over Trump in those states. Red is going to be red, Blue is going to be blue. The swing states are key and Biden delivers PA at a minimum. MI tends to follow PA and Wisconsin will follow Biden as well. Ohio farmers have been hammered with tariffs, there is a chance Biden makes a play there as well, but Ohio is getting redder by the decade.
On what are you basing that the the Dems don’t have their eye on the presidency? Biden is a solid known person who is popular and polls well against Trump. They want the presidency. If only to undo a bunch of Trump’s crazy ■■■■■ Just the way things are set up, the presidency is easier for Dems than the senate.

If they were serious, they wouldn’t have floated the idea of a one term Biden presidency to make him more palatable.
I’m not getting the logic there. Because maybe some people have said it might be a good idea to do that(who by the way) means that Democrats aren’t serious about trying to win the presidency this time around? That’s just wishful thinking.

Biden is probably most similar to Trump. They are both have done some pretty reprehensible behavior, especially to women. Biden’s only hope really is with black people, due to his position as VP during the Obama administration. But go ahead, keep justifying his behavior, all because “the Republicans did it.” Tit for tat, talionic thinking.

Biden is a “hugger”, which I am not in favor of. In fact I find that kind of behavior disturbing, being a “no touchy” kind of guy. But that is a far cry from what Trump has done, with his affairs, multiple wives, accusations of ogling minor teenage beauty contestants and paying off porn stars and playboy models to help his bid to win the White House.
Biden is a dedicated family man who took the Amtrak home to Delaware every night from DC when he was Senator in order to be with his kids and wife. He never took advantage of his Senate Seat monetarily, when he was named VP he was worth less than half a million dollars including his house. After 20 years in the Senate.
Times have changed and he needs to change with them and keep a more “hands off” approach to people. He will, no doubt. But comparing the two is ridiculous, Biden is a decent man and Trump is more or less a monster of a human being. I do think Trump loves his kids, although Tiffany seems to be perpetually on the outs. But Biden is a good person.

For starters, he kissed and hugged a pre-teen girl without her consent. Some women have claimed he’s inappropriately touched them. Amy Lappos and Caitlyn Caruso are two of them.
You may be right. But only time will tell. If he has done these things, he can change for the better, and he can earn back the respect of Americans. Let’s see how things pan out.
