Pure speculation incoming, and relevant only to this case:
I’m thinking the fact that he did this with a firearm actually caused less casualties.
Had he done this with a knife or a blunt object, there would have been no gunshots for people to report to the police. He could have gone on for days.

Doesn’t matter. The next killing (and the next, and the next) is a springboard for even more control.
That’s the lib way.
Yep we should do nothing to try to keep this from happening again.

That’s my point.
Yet YOUR GOVERNMENT is looking to add more restrictions nonetheless.
Same lib model happens here.

That wasn’t the question. I asked what new gun laws is he proposing?

Of course the law against impersonating a police officer was ignored. That’s what makes it a criminal act.

Still no word on the gun I can find.
Because he is appealing to his base who have wanted stricter laws for years.
RCMP wont release this info its not really relevant to their case.

Still not an answer to my question. What new laws is he proposing?
Nothing yet he is just talking out his butt.
Parliament isn’t even in session.

can you believe @CanadianJudo said that?

RCMP might release that info in like two weeks.
RCMP doesn’t give a ■■■■ about the press they release information on their own timeline.
RCMP said today that the shooter acquired his firearm illegal.
at this point I assume it was likely a handgun.

Says who?
The RCMP, that’s who.
Link to it slick.
Police said they cannot identify the firearms used by the suspect at the time he was stopped by police, as that information is with the Serious Incident Response Team, the province’s police watchdog.
Leather said where the gunman got his firearms is “a key part of the investigation.”
RCMP knows they just simply refuse to release the information at the current time.
