Is anyone else getting notifications pushed onto their phone from this site? They arrive like it’s going to be a text message, but it’s just something from this site, Hannity Community.
I don’t like it. And I can’t figure out how to stop it. I’ve checked under the notifications tab under settings here but can’t find anything that would seem to apply.
And here I’ll admit how dumb I am. How does this happen when I never shared my cellphone number with this site.
I’m not having this issue. But it is likely not related to your cellphone number, rather to your email. Assuming you get email on your phone. You should be able to go to your email settings and disable notifications from this site there. But, like you, I am FAR from the best person to ask on technical issues.
Maybe @Eclipze would be a better person to weigh in. He seems to be a man in-the-know when it comes to the technicalities of things.
I checked that but I don’t have anything there like that in my Gmail. In fact I have Gmail notifications completely turned off because I don’t really care about getting notified for each dumb email.
The only other notifications I get similar to this is from my Target app, a YouTube subscription, and Google Photos. And texts.
This is just a website, I can’t figure out how it’s sending me notifications on my phone.
Man, that stinks my dear. Unfortunately, that is about the most technical input I can provide. But you may ask direct to some of the others around here. @Apocalypto or @Orygun or @dantes all seem to be pretty well versed in technical stuff as well. Maybe they could lend a hand?
