Somehow this just ain’t right.
Disgusting.
I owned a John Deere once upon a time.
Will not be buying any more.
Considering their clientele, they may have just shot themselves in the foot?
Yeah farmers may not go for what they did.
Plenty of other brand tractors to choose from.
AFBF agrees to encourage state Farm Bureau organizations to recognize the
commitments made in this MOU and refrain from introducing, promoting, or supporting federal
or state “Right to Repair” legislation that imposes obligations beyond the commitments in this
MOU. In the event any state or federal legislation or regulation relating to issues covered by this
MOU and/or “Right to Repair” is enacted, each of AFBF and Manufacturer reserve the right, upon
fifteen (15) days written notice, to withdraw from this MOU.
15 days notice of withdrawal should be given today, and aggressive “right to repair” legislation needs be pursued in the marketspaces where Deere competes.
Grant waivers from the regulation to the manufacturers that continue to build their tractors in the United States, so they have a competitive advantage against Deere.
And that’s why I like Kubota. If it’s foreign made it should be Japanese.
Why not? What’s wrong with Mexicans?
My Yukon was built in Mexico. It’s not built any worse than the ones built by drunk rednecks in Missouri.
My JonDurr is a 1952 Model B with the flashy electrical start option.
Hey now that’s bourgeois stuff.
Proletariat tractors are cranked with a handle attached to the crankshaft.
I have two Deere’s.
I’ve got a New Holland from the 80s. Not a bad tractor; does the job and it was gifted to me so it’s the best price; free.
Speaking of which, it’s been sitting in the back field for a couple of months now. Getting to be time to fire it back up and brush the fields. Now that we’re down to 2 horses, the fields are growing like crazy and reseeding themselves.
Nice! When I was a kid on the farm we had one that you had to crank a big ole Flywheel to try and start it.
It had a lot of power whenever you managed to get it started.
My Dad did eventually get a slightly newer one that had an electrical start to it.
You had a proper proletariat family comrade.
Careful now, one must not remind the rank and file that they have competition for the job to manufacture something.
Please tell us you have at a minimum, that old dog covered with a tarp?
The smoke stack has a coffee can on it, but we don’t get enough sunlight in the spring to have to bother. It’ll fire right up after the first choke.

And I’ll raise you with Farmall H.
