The Ontario government decided to ditch its universal income project this week, with Ministers saying the expensive pilot program was “clearly not the answer” for the nation’s working families and those below the poverty line.

Does Canada have mind altering drugs as being legal? Especially for their government workers. Apparently they didn’t realize that giving money to people below the poverty level isn’t the answer. Penalizing those that work for their income by giving it to those that don’t will only make the workers docile and see it’s not beneficial for them to get up everyday and work for their money only to have it squandered by their government. It was a ridiculous plan in the first place, now they seem to be realizing it.
