Not Looking Good for Ronny Jackson, MD

The tabloid presidency rolls on.

Amazing that Trump would still stick up for him after a HIPPA violation involving the Pences.

These are allegations…but if they are true, then he shouldn’t be on the job. We’ll see.

Why was Pence’s physician communicating with Dr. Jackson in the first place? Did he ask for advice, maybe?

If by advice you mean confronting Jackson over a HIPAA violation

Sometimes doctors will consult each other or supervisors when they have a concern about a patient, and will ask for advice. It’s not uncommon, but it is the only reason I can think of that Jackson may be contacting Pence’s physician.

Then there is this. Hopefully this will lead to the defeat of Jon Tester in red Montana.

Two of the accusations – that Dr. Jackson drunkenly banged on a female colleague’s hotel door in the middle of the night and wrecked a government vehicle – were busted over the weekend. The Secret Service disputed the allegations of door-banging and the White House, according to the Washington Post, said officials reviewed Jackson’s vehicle records and found “three minor incidents” but “no evidence” that Jackson had wrecked a car.

Tester’s allegations painted a picture of Jackson as some sort of drunken, pill-pushing quack, handing out drugs willy-nilly (Tester claimed on national television Jackson was called “The Candyman”) and generally conducting himself dishonorably.
These allegations were so outrageous that Jonathan Swan, the reporter from Axios who broke the original story that Jackson’s nomination was in trouble, refused to print them.

That may be true, or it could be fake news. Considering the other accusations against Jackson were debunked, hard to know what to believe.

Pence’s physician wasn’t asking for advice. He was confronting Jackson for HIPAA violations

You know the overprescibing also occured during the Obama Administration right?

It only came to light because of the nomination RIGHT?

NF is not an Obama fan nor giving him a pass for his physician’s indiscretions by pointing that out

Don’t hold your breath on tester losing.

He’ll be the senator from Montana long after trump has departed the scene.

Assuming the allegations are accurate, yes, it would appear to have been an ongoing issue stemming back for several years. Why do you ask?

“Dr. Jackson stated that it is not always possible to adhere to HIPAA at the White House,” the memo said. The memo said that Jackson asserted to the physician that “he must be involved” in medical issues at Camp David and Walter Reed because they are “presidential assets” – even if those medical issues don’t involve the First Family.

HIPAA doesnt apply to Jackson. LOL.

Thats all you need to know.

why even have HIPAA in the first place if doctors are allowed to violate it at their own whim.

Here is the HIPAA exceptions;

LOL nothing in the exceptions about being “white house assets”

Dr Jackson made that one up when he got his hand caught in the cookie jar.

I believe you have missed the point.

Have you heard anybody debunk this? And why was Jackson removed from his post as Trump’s personal physician?

Deflection noted!

See, two can play that game…

But, but, but … Hillary’s emails!

i was right

Jackson was demoted from rear admiral to captain following an investigation over alleged wrongdoings
during his time in the trump white house.

from the todays Washington post

“But Jackson is no longer a retired admiral. The Navy demoted him in July 2022 following a damaging Pentagon inspector general’s report that substantiated allegations about his inappropriate behavior as a White House physician, a previously unreported decision confirmed by a current defense official and a former U.S. official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive personnel move.”
