Sooner or later Iran will get the message that Israel will never allow them to get nuclear weapons. They are very capable of stopping them and doing some serious damage should they continue to try. The US is a wildcard depending on what political party occupies the WH.
I believe Iran finally realizes it to be an exercise in futility and if they are smart, they will abandon the effort. The money could better be spent elsewhere.
Of course it’s intact. The only way to destroy it is to cause a critical reaction. You sure as heck don’t destroy it by blowing up the building it’s in.
To me, if the containers it was in are destroyed, it’s no longer intact. I’m not up on how it gets stored. Maybe it gets kept in indestructible vessels. But if those get broken, I would think the enriched uranium would get tainted and would have to be re-refined again. (Never mind the radioactive leakage into the surrounding rubble, making extraction hazardous.)
It would be nearly impossible to destroy an enriched uranium container except by direct impact by the bomb. Even if the container is compressed, the material has no place to go.
