I agree. Every single day on liberal blogs/website it’s the same headlines all over again - “Beginning of the end !”, “The house of cards is crumbling”, “Trump is on his way out”, etc… at which point does it dawn that none of those are happening ?
Despite Bernie’s numbers has no real chance or momentum. It’s either Biden or Warren. The progressives will consolidate around Warren and the moderates around Biden
All the Dums have is a large majority in the deepest blue and most cucked of states.
Even in a thread titled “No positive message from the Democrats”, is still all about Trump bad. Every thread evolves into Trump trashing. They got nothing else. The Dums are Trump’s slave. They need him. He’s their golden goose.

They did??? Where? Prices in my town went up 20-25 cents a gallon for about 3 weeks. Then right back down. Where I live in Indiana, prices haven’t hit above 3.00 a gallon at least since Trump has been in office, prices have fluctuated between about 2.39-2.99 a gallon. Been doing that for years.
Everyone understands that oil and gas are commodities traded in the world marketplace. Energy independence only means that if need be, America produces enough oil now that we couldn’t be shut off and held hostage at another nations whim. You do realize in a national emergency, the federal government CAN take control of resources right? Doesn’t mean prices wouldnt go up or that resources couldn’t be rationed like it has been in past times of war, it just means we wouldn’t have to rely on other countries to meet our needs.

And when those two groups stare across the divide, Stacey Abrams will roll in and run the table with a positive message of:
- Inclusion for all Americans
- Tax fairness for the Middle Class
- Affordable Healthcare for all who want it
- Affordable College for all who want it
- Protecting the environment so something is left for our children and grandchildren
- Voting rights for all citizens – lot the voters pick the elected officials rather than elected officials picking the voters
- Background checks for all gun purchases
- Protection of a woman’s right to chose
- A return to civility in public discourse
- A return to integrity in the White House
Now I know most of the conservatives on this board will not acknowledge that is a positive message, because it largely consists of things that conservatives oppose, But public opinion data show that a majority or Americans favor every one of those planks.
The Republican “positive” message can be seen at each Trump rally: name calling, anger at perceived enemies, exclusion of all those who don’t count as “real” Americans… while its Congressional delegation runs on tax cuts for the wealthy, more guns and no health care protections for those with pre-existing conditions.
Which party has the “positive” message?
Abrams/Hickenlooper vs. Trump/Pence would be quite a race in 2020

Repubs are exactly the same. During Obama years it was nothing but whining. Trump’s speech at RNC in 2016 pretty much went like “Everything sucks, border is open, terrorists are coming to kill you, Hillary’s emails, vote for me, thanks!”

Positive message how about we tell the truth.
- Inclusion into what for all American’s?
- Who do you think is going to pay for all your free goodies. That right the middle class so you might as well tell the truth giant tax on the middle class.
- Free health care for the lazy and illegals paid for by more taxs for the hard working middle class.
- Free college for the lazy and illegals paid forby more tax’s on the hard working middle class.
- More tax’s on the middle class for not protecting the environment but lining the pockets of the wealthy.
- Lets let everyone in the United States vote citizen or not as long as it benefits the DNC, Lets take the votes away from middle America and let the big city leftist decide what rural America needs.
- Lets punish law abiding citizens and do nothing to prevent gun violence.
- Lets kill more babies.
- Lets let the left say what ever they want but lets silence all those conservative voices.
- Lets let the DNC decide what is integrity. They sure didn’t mind Obama bowing to foreign leaders and telling the world what a rotten country we are.
Public opinion why not just say mob rule. Hate to tell you but the majority in the cities don’t yet have the power of mob rule over rural America. And if they finally get the power they might not like the results. The founders had a reason for giving the minority just as many rights and just as loud of a voice as the majority.
The “moderate” Dums out there need to wake up. JFK isn’t coming back.
