didn’t you get the memo that just because something is called news doesn’t mean it has to always be news. did you see that roseanne interview? it was great.
If any “dirt” had been found on Hillary, then to have any affect it would have to have been released to the public. Obviously, this is not something that could or should have been hidden. Would newspapers have refused to accept secret damaging information about Trump if it came from a Russian source? Of course not. Would Hillary…well we know the answer to that from the dossier.
Of course they could have released it to the FBI or intelligence agencies if they had received such information. Considering what we know now, that might have been a mistake.
Of course, the final thing that makes this anothing is that they go nothing. They just met to see if there was a something there.
There wasn’t
You act like administration, starting even before the election when it totally softened the RNC stance on Ukraine, has not actually acted in in ways that are enormously beneficial to Russia.
I doubt there’s a piece of paper with a contract on it.
The Presidents behavior in Helsinki and toward longstanding alliances in our favor certainly hint at the allegation that this administration has tempered the American policy substantially.
Yes, Trump has always taken a position that we should try to improve relations with Russia rather than attack them. That, IMO, is a reasonable position in foreign policy to take and not an indication of some conspracy related quid pro quo for which there is not evidence.
As far as softening the position re Ukraine, the modification was just to defeat a position for arming Ukraine…a position already taken by the DNC.
Stop trying to criminalize foreign policy. Its not good fro the country.
Trump just admitted his son, son in law, and campaign manager met with people purporting to represent a foreign governments earnest desire to influence our election.
I suspect foreign policy has already been criminalized.
So let me get this straight…normalizing relations with a country that, even if it had nothing to do with Trump, actively attempted to influence our election process is a good thing…but normalizing relations with Cuba or Iran is somehow a bridge too far?
