The country has been doomed for awhile, it started sometime imho around Bush Jr and it’s yet been on a 90 degree downward angle since.

This poll from 2017 says it all.

Not sure how this lasts, I am very pessimistic about the future of the country lasting in its current form as a republic of 50 states.
