Insulin was founded by 3 men working together in 1921. J. Macleod, Frederick Banting, and Charles Best. Charles Best passed away in 1978.

Charles Best was in his early 20s when the discovery was made. He passed away in the late 70s. Yes, Biden was definitely alive in the 70s.
