No change in outcome of Colorado Congressional District 3 after recount: Secretary of State

There was no change in Colorado 3 after the recount and Lauren Boebert is officially the final congressional race decided.

The final elected House of Representatives count is 222 to 213.

222 Republicans and 212 Democrats will gather on January 3rd, due to the death of Democrat Donald McEachin of Virginia, A special election will be held in February, but that is a Safe Democrat seat.

And that pretty much brings the 2022 election to a close. On to 2024.

Bummer. I wouldn’t have minded seeing Boebert taken down.

Ah well. Hopefully this brush with political death teaches a lesson.

Which is just about the reverse of two years ago. I don’t recall people claiming then how the Democrats had lost.
