Ten years ago, conservatives were crying blood because some gays kissed on “Glee” which was popular with kids. Mere acknowledgment was verboten in very recent history.

It’s not indoctrination to say “ you arenloved and respected regardless of your gender”.
We had the same conversations years ago when people wanted black American to attend the same schools as whites. It was viewed as indoctrination to suggest blacks were the same as whites.
It’s not indoctrination.

Because of gender. Of course it is.
How would you know. Are they the same? In every sense?
That was an example of hate. There are millions. It’s all very recent history even though conservatives have started pretending that they’re okay with the LGB part of LGBT.

Of course it is. You have your morality. I have mine.
You want children to be taught yours in public schools.

Is a K-3 child homosexual/trans?
Does it matter? Does anyone ask the same thing about straight couples in school lessons? Literally any american classic novel, or old english play that we’re forced to read in school–not a peep, even though the straight characters can’t keep their hands off each other.
But a gay couple in a school book is a four-alarm national controversy.

It doesn’t. These people exist just as much as heterosexual people, multiplication tables, or the water cycle. They shouldn’t need special permission or dispensation to be taught.
It is hate to act as if their apparenace in a school text is too obscene for children. Only LGBT folks get treated that way.
They know their sex. The gender is proscribed by cultural norms. Blue/pink, sports/makeup, cars/Barbies, etc.

Is it? Or are those baubles the results of gender feelings?

Ultimately it is decided by the individual. It is typically decided for a child by their guardians.
