Could be realted:

As many of you know I eagerly read each months employment report from BLS.

One number that keeps standing out like it had a bright orange highlighter, is the growth in hiring in the private education.

EX. In October:

  • Motor vehicle and parts dealers expanded payrolls by 6,000 people
  • Food and beverage retailers expanded payrolls by 3,400 people
  • Durable goods manufacturers downsized payrolls by 35,000 jobs

- State government education expanded payrolls by 2,500 people
- Private educational services expanded payrolls by 11,500 people

That’s not all private K-12 schooling, but still the number seems pretty large month after month.

Private education perhaps better than the goobermint schools?

For the most part, yes.

They can self select and charge tuition which weeds out certain kids.

And full of guilt and self loathing…

But
Since they are hiring more now (which seems to be the case) then that is an indication that parents are objecting to

  • the worst math an science programs in the developed world
    couples with
  • We’ll help your 6 year old decide if he is relay a girl and we will keep it a secret from you."

The best thing government could do to help people is to stop helping people…

That is the obvious inference.
But it could be that there is a sustained increase in companies whose product qualifies as education. (Teaching employees how to use AI or whatever.) Last decade they called themselves ā€œcorporate consultantsā€ this decade they call themselves ā€œcorporate trainersā€ possibly.

There’s also been a large exodus of teachers retiring or just leaving the profession. Also, not as many teachers entering the profession.

That and busing the white and Asian students into the inner city schools!

They can’t read.

This is new jobs newly created vs last month.

BLS contacts 122,000 employers representing ~660,000 worksites and asks
ā€œHow many people worked for you this month?ā€
It reports the number is unadjusted and seasonally adjusted formats.

Here are some of the results:
(Private education has been growing at a substantial pace.)

Well the parties have entered the Remediation phase with the hope of finding an amicable ā€œsolutionā€ (whatever that’s supposed to mean):

I’m sure one the agreed on solutions will be the development of so-called ā€œmagnetā€ schools, which can be situated in locations accessible to students from a number of different towns. The problem will be the cost. The other solution will be to bus kids to different schools based on race, which will face resistance, further lawsuits and logistical issues. Regarding logistics you could be talking about some kids sitting on buses for 2-3 hours so they can get bused across multiple towns.

News flash…the larger problem that needs to be addressed are the parents of the children who are failing in school. They are not doing their job in guiding their children into adulthood along the path of education. Do you inspect their homework to see that it’s done? Do you attend the Parent/Teacher Conference day and converse with the teachers working with your child to see if they have any complaints or recommendations? Until this is resolved…the only thing bussing these kids to other schools will do, is bring down the grades of those children do to the disruption these educationally, failing children bring with them.

Oh…but ā€œweā€ can’t talk about this subject. That’s waaaaacism.

The state raises those children.

From the first link:

In the 674 public school districts serving 1.3 million students, about 585,000 Black and Latino students attend public schools with student populations that are more than 75% non-white, the lawsuit says, citing 2017 data. More than half of those students attend schools that are more than 90% non-white.

This should be a dream scenario for todays libs.

Then instead of supporting legalized child abuse, the answer is to remove one testicle and one ovary of each failing parent. Then…although ā€œweā€ haven’t fixed the problem, it can not exacerbate. :+1:

Although this can not be done, it really is the best answer…for the well being of our nation’s children.

Exactly. 70% of black children and over 50% of Latino children come from single parent households and everyone of them live off of various forms of public assistance.

you should just stop any pretense of being conservative. This is exactly the leftist scheme that the Obama administration was doing.

it is the way obama tried to force it, which is exactly what you’re advocating.

Lousy parents create lousy children and lousy children make lousy students and lousy students make lousy schools. US schools are in decline and will continue on that trajectory as more and more US children are born to single mothers along with the flooding of the nation with the world’s poverty and problems.
