New York Democratic candidate for Governor Cynthia Nixon viciously attacked President Trump this week; bizarrely slamming the Commander-in-Chief for “not expanding” driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.
Nixon posted the left-field attack on social media Wednesday evening; calling on Governor Andrew Cuomo to “oppose” the Trump administration by issuing driver’s licenses to New York’s “undocumented workers.”
“We need to oppose Trump not just with rhetoric, but with policy. Why, for example, have you not expanded access to driver’s licenses to undocumented workers?” she tweeted.
The candidate’s comments come as Governor Cuomo came under-fire from both sides of the political aisle after he viciously referred to ICE agents as a “bunch of thugs” during their heated debate.
