You do know if you’re arrested no matter the crime you’re entitled to due process, right?

trump had none, seems to have worked well.

The agreement was created during Bush and signed under Clinton. It’s neither conservative or liberal. It was a sell out of the people of the United States that shifted a great deal of our economy, out of the US, that then built the economies of Mexico, India, China, Viet Nam, South Korea and other countries around the world but at our expense. The third candidate, Ross Perot, during the 92 election summed up NAFTA best when he said, “that giant sucking sound you hear are all of the jobs leaving the US”.

It also threw away the pollution standards that these companies had to adhere to here in the US, reducing their cost, increasing their profits, all while polluting the world we live in while those that signed the agreement, bitched about “man made global warming” with the intent on selling us next on “carbon credits” and the right to pollute. It’s just another corrupt way to illicitly make money, at the expense of others…but producing nor accomplishing anything.

The conversation of a $15 minimum wage today is a direct result of that agreement. It’s just the shepherds sheoplizing the citizens of the US and I despise all of those involved for it. Now the media has joined this corrupt political fray and even more recently, the social media giants too…all making their money at the expense of the naive people that have been naively sheoplized and it actually pains me observing this during my lifetime.

and what is the one thing a “mostly” peaceful protest is not?

Not the same meaning of the word. One is dramatically sarcastic and to achieve this, multiple "i"s must be used. You’re welcome.

The concept of NAFTA started with Reagan. Those in congress that were against it, were primarily in progressive caucus in the Democratic party. It was/is a neo-liberal (conservative ) economic policy.

It had nothing to do with India, Vietnam China, or S Korea.

Watch a stone when it’s thrown into water and observe the ripples going out in all directions. They hit the shores in different places and at different times but they all came from the same stone. Now open your eyes and you’ll then see…it had everything to do with exactly what I said but you just may be to blind to see that far out?

How do you do that by killing jobs and making us dependent on foreign countries?

Thanks for making my point.

I am very aware of the ripple effect of neo-liberal (Reaganism, Thatcherism) economic policies that have dealt a huge blow to the middle class over the last 40 years.

Reagan was a liberal?

As it has been explained many times, we are still living in the economic effects of Reaganomics and Thatcherism.

Put the blame where it belongs, conservative economic policy. Which affects both parties.

Neo-liberal, economically speaking.

I guess but IMO its still a stretch to call him a Neo-liberal because Neo-liberalism also has social aspects like inclusiveness and Reagan was anything but.

His voting base can’t win the popular vote for him or anybody else.

That’s completely wrong.

Neo-liberalism, is mostly about economic policy.

I agree with your assessment regarding Reagan.

I kind of agree but his ideas aren’t new buthy did it take a vehicle like Trump to actually get traction?

Fascinating.
