Are the cops succeeding in some of these cities? Are they developing relationships with the community?

I know some very good cops. They get out on the street, talk to people, build relationships with the community they patrol. Get them to trust them. They understand that with trust comes tips on the criminals and they can do their jobs effectively.

A lot of cops see theirselves as occupiers of a failed state. With that mindset they can’t build relationships. Every person is a criminal. There’s no trust.

And also - why the ■■■■ is the anthem played at a football game anyway? What does foot ball have to do with our anthem? Makes no sense.

No one is trying to take the current Anthem away from anyone.

They just aren’t.

This protest IS about inappropriate police violence against people in particular against people of color.

You nailed it, it is TRADITION, to play the Anthem at NFL games, not required, not necessary, not Constitutionally mandated.

The games will go on with or without the Anthem. Whether or not the players stand, sit, kneel, or lie down the games will still be played.

No one has taken the socialist bastardized pledge of allegiance away from anybody. They just haven’t.

No one has taken the Lord’s prayer away from anyone in school. They just haven’t.
