Are the cops succeeding in some of these cities? Are they developing relationships with the community?
I know some very good cops. They get out on the street, talk to people, build relationships with the community they patrol. Get them to trust them. They understand that with trust comes tips on the criminals and they can do their jobs effectively.
A lot of cops see theirselves as occupiers of a failed state. With that mindset they can’t build relationships. Every person is a criminal. There’s no trust.
Sorry, but it sounds like as big a waste of time as a bunch of Millionaires who only remember the violence when they disrespect the anthem. I bet those orgs are leading the way when their is a bad cop, and gone when kids are killing each other…
Parts of it… School programs, after the death of your kid counselling etc… They pretend. Typical. Mostly about capitalism, I bet… Nice fat salaries for the leaders, etc… Send me money and feel like you did something.
You’re not even trying. You’re not arguing in good faith. It’s remarkable that you would even post about such an important topic in such a flippant manner.
