I don’t like what they’re doing but as long as they don’t have words sharpied onto their cleats saying Cops are Pigs, I say let it go.

Anyone who did or does wear such inflammatory words on their cleats or uniform should never be allowed to play the game again.

Exactly.

The guy doesn’t like the way cops treat African Americans.

Instead of exacerbating the problem, work wtih the cops - and your own community - to help the situation.

Don’t make it worse with hateful rhetoric.

I would never watch a team that played Kaepernick, and I’ll never buy Nike. (A meaningless gesture, that last, since I never did buy Nike, but if I ever had, I never would again!)

I don’t know what the big issue is here. And I don’t know why people kept bringing up that players are exercising their First Amendment rights. Because they don’t apply. They only apply in regards to government retaliation.
