Colin Kaepernick’s legal team is seeking testimony from President Trump regarding the alleged “conspiracy” to keep the out-of-work quarterback from rejoining the NFL after months of player protests.

The former San Francisco 49er’s lawyers are arguing that the President, Vice President Pence, and team owners colluded to keep Kaepernick out of the league; claiming their political involvement while the athlete was a free agent impacted his eligibility for employment.

“Kaepernick’s legal team will have to convince the system arbitrator overseeing the grievance case that Trump, Pence and others’ testimony would be relevant and make an impact on the case. If the arbitrator grants the request, the lawyers will then have to seek the subpoenas in a district court under the Federal Arbitration Act,” writes Fox News.

Kaepernick was the first professional athlete to “take a knee” during the performance of the national anthem in 2016, citing police violence and racial injustice in America.

Hey Donald, how are you going to get all those fans sitting in bars, hooting and hollering, and munching down their hot dogs and drinking their beer to stand up when your National Anthem is being played on the big screen.

Come to think of it what about all the fans wandering around the corridors at the actual game, buying their beer and hot dogs to stop and pay attention.

Just wondering Joe from Canada :sunglasses:

It is a communal thing you do when your attending the game, there is a moment of silence at every home I have ever been to when its playing. You are from Canada, you still pay for Royal Weddings and things like that! I dont expect you to understand the concept of freedom.
