The dude ran as a socialist, if there was a right wing candidate that ran as a fascist, we would all have no problem, knowing what that means.

Like I give a rat’s ass what some stupid kid thinks is “socialism”. That word was already meaningless when I achieved political consciousness in 2006. Welfare, environmentalism, feminism, labor rights, and unions have all been called “socialist”, so it was inevitable that Gen Z and millennials would adopt the “socialist” moniker—because many things they think are good have been pejoratively labeled that way!
Imagine writing “there’s a big difference between unipoe and flugelism”.
Spot the difference:
- A polity containing government-run grocery stores AND normal grocery stores.
- A polity that bans normal grocery stores and only has government-run grocery stores.
