If that community knew anything - especially about ocean currents - they would not have jumped on the political greenhouse gas nonsense bandwagon. The ocean currents cycle time is on the order of 100 years or so. The thermal capacity of water is greater than that of land (and certainly air) and the mass of this energy storage system we call oceans is thousands of times the mass of the atmosphere.
If real scientists had researched this issue they 1) would not have used a linear curve fit of the NOAA data that was originally presented as evidence of global warming and 2) would have never used the nonsensical “green house gas” concept on an earth that is not a closed system, and 3) given that they picked the ridiculous greenhouse gas explanation, would have never chosen CO2 -a self regulating gas inside the earth’s biosphere - as the culprit.
Had these so called scientists known what you say they knew - that warmer meant colder - they would not have tried to spread fear of terrible heat induced catastrophes around the world.

They always do. Then someone they know, or in their family, gets cancer and they just can’t quite figure out that it may be related. Like Asbestos and Pulmonary Fibrosis or mesothelioma.
They just don’t have the ability to consider stuff like that. So one of their loved ones will die early and they say it’s God’s will.

BTW… the whole world’s scientific community- even the so called climate scientists - are not all trying to prove what causes global warming. To get their academic degrees, they had to swallow the koolaid and say it’s CO2. Now all they do is try to find the effect of this warming or at best figure out creative ways of justifying fudging the data on CO2 so that it matches their predictions. You know nothing about any science behind the earth’s warming and cooling.
