New reforms look to chip away Israeli chief rabbis' power

Glad to see these first small steps being taken to roll back the Ultra-Orthodox party’s long stranglehold on all aspects of Israeli life. With the Ultra-Orthodox parties excluded from the current government and the inclusion of the Arab Israeli parties, the door is open to finally see some much needed reforms that will be welcomed by both non-Orthodox Jews, Christians and Muslims in Israel.
