New Jersey is misguided

They passed a law saying concealed carry is illegal anywhere there is “First Amendment activity.”

So I guess concealed carry is illegal everywhere in the state of New Jersey.

■■■■ you Jersey. I hope you get sued and lose big.

It’s a bit more nuanced than that. They designate “sensitive” areas, which Bruen allows.

However, they did up the fee, and require insurance, so there’s that.

I think $200 every time someone votes is acceptable. That’s good by you, right?

You know… to exercise their first amendment rights. It’s not cheap, right?

Any place can be a “sensitive” area.

That’s why it so loosely defined. Trying to make it illegal everywhere, or so expensive people can’t do it.

Just like in San Jose… they want people to suffer or not be able to afford to exercise their rights.

It’s an absolute affront to liberty.

Like the OP, I hope the court system eviscerates this trash law.

The back door method of firearm control.

Complete garbage. How do these people get elected?

No, of course not.

Maybe. But the law designates 25. It’s not the whole wide world.

A majority of their constituents like their policy positions and vote for them.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::+1:t4:

Almost the entire state (population wise) is either

  • a ghetto suburb of NY, or
  • a ghetto suburb of Philadelphia.

It’s fine if that’s who they want to be, but, darn it they make the laws for the entire state.

72b. Right near the GWB. But my favorite exit is …GSP 63. Love LBI.

The Corporation that I worked for had a office in Cherry Hill NJ and I can tell you that it was a really nice area. Close to Philly but very high end. Really nice homes and offices.
