The number of new COVID cases are surging to record level in Vermont, which has the highest vaccination rate of any state.

Are the record number of new cases in Vermont further evidence that vaccinations are not going to eradicate COVID?

Why is it we keep seeing articles naming/calling out the “anti-vaxxers” who die after refusing the shot and contracting covid, but we don’t see any articles naming the “fully-vaxxed” who died after getting their shots??

And for the love of god, can someone tell us how many people have died FROM the vaccine??

The mainstream media ignores the number of reported vaccine-related deaths. If Trump were still president, CNN would have a counter of vaccine deaths running as background 24/7.

from the article in the OP

Seems like getting vaccinated is still the right thing to do.

Seems like the majority were unvaccinated.

Yup.

“ As Adult ICU Patients Hit Record Highs for the Pandemic, New Report Shows Unvaccinated People Are More Than 15 Times More Likely to Die From COVID-19 Compared to Vaccinated People.”

Two weeks ago it was 25 more times likely. Just saying.

Saying what? Don’t get vaccinated?

Those are hospitalization figures, not cases.

Universities with virtually 100% vaccination rates are seeing significant outbreaks. Vaccinated cases are more likely to lack obvious symptoms. That increases the risk of spreading the disease.

Saying you guys need to make up your minds when your bouncing percentages off the wall.

Huh?

Pretty simple. Do you support folks getting vaccinated?

I support people being allowed to make their own medical decisions without bullying from the government.

From your article: “…of those 43 people, 36 were unvaccinated and seven were fully vaccinated…”

So, to answer your question:

No. But the again, I don’t think anybody claimed that we would “eradicate” Covid. In fact, everything I have read predicts Covid is here to stay.

It naturally follows then that we should protect ourselves from Covid. And from all the tools available to us, vaccinations are the best bet.

I support folks doing whatever the hell they want to do. If you want to get vaccinated, do so. If you don’t, don’t.

Yes but personally based on what you know- do you think it’s a good idea to get vaccinated?

From that article

Looks like vaccination is allowing the school to stay open and operate.

People really should get vaccinated.

I trust Senator Paul’s judgement about the vaccines much more than Biden and Fauci’s. Here is what he said in July:

"If you’re over 65, without question, I think the vaccine is much safer than the disease. And I would recommend vaccination. If you are over 40 and overweight, I’d recommend vaccination.

"If you’re under 25, the risk of COVID is about one in a million, less than the risk of being struck by lightning.

"So if you feel that you want extra safety and you decide for your children, that’s fine. But the thing is, everybody should get to make their decision. . .

“Evidence that people make good decisions – 85 percent of people over 65 decided to get the vaccine. That’s sort of a popular vote in favor of people deciding that it was a good idea. But it shouldn’t be forced or mandated. In a free society, we all make those decisions ourselves.”

Are you vaccinated?

Based on what I know, if you’ve had the virus, your body already contains the memory t-cells necessary to fight off the virus.
