Netanyahu trial clouds last days of Israel election campaign

Netanyahu’s trial is scheduled to start March 17, just 15 days after the March 2 General Election. With polls indicating that the Knesset will again be deadlocked, this pretty much sinks any chance of Netanyahu forming a government.

Ironically, if Netanyahu is quickly convicted and consequently is forced to resign from the Knesset, it may be possible to form a government and avoid a fourth election.

With Netanyahu gone, I believe Blue and White may be willing to form a coalition with Likud. But that can only happen if Netanyahu is gone.

still do. haven’t really looked at it. i did read one story, the whole thing seemed to be about the media.

Found the corruption! Should probably hold up on any aid until we can figure what the hell is going on.

Well that is one option, or we could get the prosecutor fired and the case dropped instead.

So 12 years wasn’t a bad run for the old boy. Mind you I would never write him off as political elites like him and DJT always bounce back
