It isn’t just “lib” cities and states… but to address that… States and localities having to lay off people during a pandemic induced downturn will only prolong any economic recovery.

That isn’t the whole truth now…is it Nancy?

My name isn’t Nancy.

Laying off tons of workers… whether they are public or private is bad for the economy.

Same as renaming bases.

“The $740 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed both houses of Congress with more than the two-thirds majority needed to override a presidential veto.”

If the bill is veto proof, how can he veto it? This idiot knows NOTHING about our laws, our Constitution, or ANYTHING.

They said, “elect a businessman.” You can’t run a Constitutional Republic like a business. trump is not the CEO of America. What an ass. January 20 can’t come fast enough.

:rofl::+1:t3:

Yeah!

Technically he vetos it, its sent back, then they revote and override his veto.

Renaming bases requires funding.

It goes a little deeper than that.

It requires a public input process also…At least it should were voters actually represented.

Politicians should want the process as open and complete as possible. No need to rush it.

To rid ourselves of fort hood. The hero of Atlanta.

I think not.

There is a history and a healing of the South to consider. I would like to know that locals agree and have them offer a new name.

Heal this! The civil war is over and the south lost bigtime.

I get it’s hard to ignore the actions of one side when it’s shown how wrong it was, after it’s turned around and the players rearranged to make it where even the blind can see it. You can see it now…amirite? :sunglasses:

LOL…Stampy Footy…That kills me…
