Nas X gets last laugh against racism in country music

Exactly.

But eh, music is music. What I find unbearable others find entertaining. More power to them.

Gangstagrass is a good group. (BTW, have you listened to Lindi Ortega)

Which “traditional standards” are you talking about? Was there ever a time when the country music of the day fit the standards of 20 years before the day?

The music of Hank Williams wasn’t the music of AP Carter or Jimmy Rogers.
The music of Merle Travis wasn’t Hanks kind of music.
The music of Merle Haggard wasn’t Merle Travis’.
Heck, the Nitty Gritty Dirt band played different music than Roy Acuff (nod to the Circle project)
And where in all of that did Kris Kristofferson, Liz Anderson and Chet Atkins fit.

There ain’t no such thing as “traditional standards”, the closest there is is “the music when I was 25”, which is less monolithic than a lot so called purists would have us believe.
