NBC sat on the evidence that Avenatti provided an affidavit about Kavanaugh’s alleged actions that the person who supposedly provided it said to NBC it was false.

Through the hearing, NBC sat on that news because it discredited Avenattis representations against Kavanaugh.
That is not editorial stuff, that is hiding the news you don’t want known for political purposes.

This, I believe, is a big misread of the sensibilities of much of the nation. You may believe that punching back is helpful. But what if 50% or 40% or even 30% find it peevish, petulant and offensive? Is that really a win? I think not. Bad behavior is bad behavior. A difficult question is annoying and disrespectful. Name calling is something most of us left on the playground in 5th grade.
