Trump can withdraw from the offical agreement but pretty much all of the important stuff has been passed separately by Congress as offical law so trade would still require following the agreement.
If Trump withdrew from NAFTA by EO it would only make Trudeau more popular.
What important stuff? You do realize it doesn’t take congress to decide what tariff’s will be levied right, you can let the US Manufacturer decide that ? You dont need legislation for that. All Trump has to do is give an EO and allow US Companies to decide what fair deal should be with their Canada in counterparts… Canada was actually in shambles and on the ropes before NAFTA. Canada has profiteered hugely off tariffs! Democrats are terrible at negotiating everything in life! Whether it be with Iran, NAFTA, Saddam Hussein, NK like Bill Clinton giving NK a pathway to nukes. They want the entire US to look like Chicago.

Trade regulation are set by U.S law, NAFTA would become a zombie agreement because the regulations are passed by Congress making them U.S law even if Trump formally remove U.S from the agreement.

No you were in a heavy recession before NAFTA, minor is a huge understatement. Trump is encouraging lower Taxes to keep Manufacturing in the US, and encourages jacking up the prices of Goods and Services to Canada to Mexico, to offset things. You have to buy it from us anyhow! You need us, we dont need you. There is nothing in Canada that the US isnt currently doing.

Canada and Mexico are America two largest trading partners messing up trade with them would be equal to cutting of your own arm.
But everything was peach keen after Nafta! LOL! Kinda like the liberals saying that the Obama Recision was minor! The dude spent more than all presidents combined, he was a disaster for the economy, and because of deregulation we are finally making our way back! Obamas EPA and CAFE standards were killing US Manufacturing.

Actually our greatest trade Partner is actually China! Mexico is used for Cheap Labor, but creating a trade war and lowering the corporate business tax will kill Mexico’s economy, Mexico is swirling down the toilet, and Canada is soon to follow, you have yet to tell me exactly what Canada can offer the US that, the US doesnt have already. All you do is sell us Sparkling Water that can be made for 60 cents and sell it to us for almost 4.

I think a trade war is great for people who take advantage of our rich economy and offer nothing in return to really help us benefit as a nation. I think a trade war with just Canada and Mexico is the greatest thing for the US Economy, it helps the local manufacturer ! Lower Taxes, better opportunities to compete with imported products from other countries. You still have to buy from us, we dont have to buy from you. We are resource rich, Canada is resource limited, and make up most of their revenue by screwing people with tariffs on imports and exports. Jack up the prices to our north and south neighbors, they still have to buy the goods anyhow.
Canada is resource limited, we have the second largest oil reserve in the world.
Most of what Canada import from America are finished good, which we can easily get from Europe who we just worked out a new major trade deal with.
Canada’s culture was born on the battlefields of the First World War, especially at the Somme and at Vimy Ridge. To say they don’t have an independent culture is a bit insulting.
