Using a willful misunderstanding of how the Capitol police works to excuse that Trump sat on his hands for three hours while his supporters were launching a violent attack on the Capitol is nearing peak stupid.

Nancy had no say with the sergeant at arms. All she could do is fire them at her whim. Why would they listen to her?

Why would she concern herself with the day to day operations of the Capitol Police?

The determination was made that the security was adequate for what was expected.

Why did McCarthy pull the other 3 Republicans from the committee? All 3 are Trump supporters who voted against impeachment. One of them could of asked those questions

If voting against impeachment wasn’t the reason to remove Banks then what was, other than that he said he wanted to look into Pelosi’s actions?
Really, that shouldn’t even have to be a question, as it is precedence that Republicans select their members for committees.
