Truth. JKFK could never be elected by the democrats today. The democrat party has gone so far left they are now fascist. The only moderate democrat in DC announced this year that he will not be coming back. The blue dogs no longer exist in the democrat. the party is now being run by the far-left loons.

I was a Democrat in the 60’s (although Johnson changed that by '68.) But even my staunch FDR Labor Democrat father who was so D that he believed that being a Republican was akin to having cancer, left the Party in the 80s when they went so far left he could no longer identify with them. They are so far left now that even the likes of Pelosi and Schumer look moderate.

Keeping you out of bankruptcy is incidental. The purpose is to guarantee that the injured party is reimbursed for the damage you caused. If you think the government cares whether you go bankrupt or not, you are terribly naive.

Here is just one example.

PA clearly stating the reason you have to have insurance is so that YOU - not the person you hit - don’t suffer financial lose in the event of an accident.

Simply stated, auto insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company that protects you against financial loss if you have an accident.

They lie. It’s called salesmanship to make you feel good about being forced to buy a product.

The logistics issues is why I developed my compromise. You offer them permanent legal status in exchange for giving up any chance of becoming citizens.

As part of deal, border gets locked down and controls are made much stricter for the future.

Who was in charge of it all from 2008 to 2016? Who fought Trump’s attempts to fund the wall and beef up the Border Patrol for four years? Who cried foul when Trump reallocated DoD funds to begin construction of the wall? Who canceled the construction contracts for the wall on day one of his Administration?
