My Trump Story - Things I Think About

This was the question…

Are you suggesting the dems did not do a border bill in the Senate…working with R’s?

You might be able to get a single payer if they compromised border security and trade with Trump. Not saying that would happen, but he was the only republican primary candidate I ever heard talked about a single payer being a good thing doubt that’s gonna come around too many more times.

Are you suggesting border is secured?

republicans passed HR2. Libs could have compromised.

The border has never been secure.

HR2 was a very bad bill…draconian and cruel. It would have caused havoc on our economy…

So you admitting there is no compromise.

Capitulation is not compromise and I like HR2.

Asylum
The bill would severely restrict the U.S. asylum system with new rules.

Parole
The bill would limit the ability of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide parole to non-U.S. nationals, which allows them to temporarily enter the United States.

Deportation
The bill would subject all 11 million undocumented immigrants to immediate deportation, including Dreamers who have legal status under the DACA program.

Visa overstaying
The bill would make people who overstay visas subject to criminal charges similar to the ones imposed on those who enter the U.S. without authorization.

Funding
The bill would reduce authorized funding for essential programs, including the Shelter and Services Program, which provides a critical source of funds for state and local governments.

Damn…I thought you were moderate…

Ok we can argue that’s a little much. But it isn’t draconian or cruel. They have no right to be here.

You’d be surprised at the number of people who are really angry at the shoddy status of US immigration and the borders. Most of my close friends are pretty left but they are all really up in arms about it. I mean hell I’m an anarchist for the most part and I’m sick of it.

Like that Soviet general said about Chernobyl. The Soviet people are sick and tired of this accident and it’s up to you, Soviet soldiers, to fix this problem. Americans are starting to feel the same way about it because it’s one of those problems that never gets fixed.

Deporting 11 million people is not cruel? The asylum program is based on the travesty following WW2.
It probably need to be updated…but not that way.

Truth. JKFK could never be elected by the democrats today. The democrat party has gone so far left they are now fascist. The only moderate democrat in DC announced this year that he will not be coming back. The blue dogs no longer exist in the democrat. the party is now being run by the far-left loons.

I wouldn’t lose sleep if 11 million people who got in here illegally were deported. They committed a crime against a state border to get in here.

With that said, I don’t support that solution. My solution has always been that if you are here and have committed no other crimes and are in good standing (meaning you have a job and you aren’t on the welfare system) you get designated as a permanent legal alien and can stay. As a consequence though, you forfeit the privilege to ever become a United States citizen. That’s my compromise solution.

The majority of the people claiming asylum now have no valid reason to claim it. Being from poverty is not a valid reason. You need to be fleeing a war zone. In my opinion.

I am not a moderate because I look for compromise on every issue. I have things I feel strongly about on both the right and the left. Illegal immigration happens to be one issue I agree with the right on.

Proving my point…just how extreme you are and your inability to compromise.

The reality is that to deport 11 million people is logistically impossible. It would take years and cost millions if not billions of dollars.

We are told by cons that government is inept at everything so how the ■■■■ do they organize something on this scale?

Where do we house people waiting to be deported? Do we send them back to their home country? If so how? Who pays the cost? What if their home country refuses them because they have no proof they are a citizen of said country? You cant just deop them all in Mexico because no proof they came in via the border plus we all know Mexico would not allow millions of people to be suddenly pushed through the border in a matter of months.

If we do house them then effectively we are imprisoning them. Hmm we all know that would not stand muster. Denying millions overnight freedom without a trial or even proof they did something wrong. What if they offered to post bail?

I could go on but you get the picture.

That would be the democrat party and it has been much longer than a decade.
The democrat party has refused for over a decade to comprise. What you are missing is the conservative party that caved and gave the left whatever they wanted because they were afraid the leftist media might talk bad about them.
The new GOP could give a crap if you talk bad about them because the people who voted them into office told them cave and next election you go home.
The fringe left with their extreme views have been in control of the democrat party for so long that there is only one moderate democrat left in DC and he is not coming back next year. The blue dogs are gone.
The common working man is leaving the democrat party. Hispanics are leaving the democrat party. Black males are leaving the democrat party. And independents are so angry with both parties that they are looking for the best third-party candidate there is.
Everyone is seeing the fascist turn the democrats are making and you stick your head in the sand and defend the loons.

Keeping you out of bankruptcy is incidental. The purpose is to guarantee that the injured party is reimbursed for the damage you caused. If you think the government cares whether you go bankrupt or not, you are terribly naive.
